Gunn Lakdee
My name is Gunn, born and raised in Rayong, Thailand. I hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, where my passion for blending technology with business was ignited through active participation in college startup competitions.
Over the past six years, I’ve worked in two early-stage tech startups: Meticuly (3D printing MedTech) and Edsy (Gen AI EdTech) in Bangkok. My roles spanned Strategic Planning, Product Management, B2B Sales & Marketing, and Partnerships, enabling me to solve complex challenges for schools, hospitals, and governments at scale. What excites me most is applying a combination of technology and business to create a tangible impact across Thailand.
Looking ahead, my long-term vision is to become a tech entrepreneur, particularly in EdTech or HealthTech. In the short term, I am focused on building a strong foundation through hands-on experience in technology or consulting sector, to expand my global perspective and skill set.
Pursuing an MBA at Michigan Ross is a key step in this journey. I chose Ross for its unique blend of collaborative leadership and a supportive community. The strength of the University of Michigan’s extensive alumni network is also a key advantage, offering a wide range of opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
Over the next two years in Ann Arbor, I look forward to collaborating with classmates, professors, and alumni from diverse backgrounds, exchanging ideas, and learning from their experiences. Outside of the classroom, I am excited to play more badminton and pickleball, immerse myself in different cultural experiences, and give back to the Ross community. Go Blue!
