Ivan Barrueta

Prior to Ross, I worked in the M&A sector helping companies through the M&A lifecycle. Coming from a large commuter school in undergrad, I sought a more intimate and close-knit community for my MBA. Ross stood out to me for its strong sense of school spirit and the vibrant, supportive environment it fosters. Before I submitted my application, I received invaluable assistance from the Ross community with my Consortium essays, and during one of my school visits, I connected with students who went out of their way to help with any questions, leaving a lasting impression on me. During my application process the students were able to connect me to alumni and the alumni connected me with other alumni to provide insights on their Ross experience. I also loved Ross' exponential learning opportunities and the opportunity to travel abroad as part of your first curriculum.
