Jose Antonio Villalba
Originally from Peru, but I moved to the United States as a teenager. Settling in Northern New Jersey, I embraced the opportunities this new chapter brought to my life.
Before coming to Ross, I worked in the Retail and Medical device industries in inventory management and business operations. In my pursuit of financial growth, I started investing in real estate and made investments in both multi-family and single-family properties, delving into the world of real estate.
I came to Ross to hone my leadership and investing skills, and to create a strong and supportive community. Post-MBA, I want to pivot into private equity real estate.
At Ross, I’m the inclusion chair of my section; I’m a member of the Real Estate Fund; and I’m part of the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital (EVC), Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA), among other clubs. Lastly, I’m also a Consortium and MLT fellow.
Feel free to ask me anything about my admissions process, moving to Ann Arbor with a partner, soccer, real estate, investing, my experience in Ann Arbor, or even my puppy.
