Class of 2026

Minor: UX Design Minor

Hometown: Detroit, MI

Hi everyone! My name is Kendyll and I am a BBA Sophomore from Detroit, Michigan. Growing up I always wanted to attend Michigan but Ross wasn’t on my radar until my junior year of highschool. By the time it came to apply for college I was still unsure of what I wanted to do. I was interested in so many areas and didn’t know which to pursue. I came to realize that pursuing business, specifically marketing and/or consulting, is a way I can enter any field without being confined to a certain path. That’s when I decided that I wanted to apply to Ross.

There was no doubt in my mind about attending Ross once I got accepted and during my time here I am a thousand percent sure that I made the right decision. The community at The University of Michigan and Ross has so much to offer and you can find something for you no matter what you're interested in. Ross puts its students on the right track and gives us the tools to have a successful future and also thrive and enjoy the present. Currently I am involved in the Black Business Undergraduate Society, I am a mentor for Academic Success Coaching(ASC) , and outside of Ross I am a part of EnspiRED runway and Michigan Women Empowerment in Sports and Entertainment (MWESE). I have made some of my greatest memories here and I am so glad that you’re considering The Ross School of Business. Go Blue!
