Kostas Boutsikakis

Hello everyone, my name is Kostas Boutsikakis. I was born and raised in Athens, Greece and came to the US to pursuit my university education in 2012. I started my career in 2018 as a Financial Business Analyst with the University of Michigan and I have had the opportunity to work with multiple different departments. I currently serve as a Senior Consultant in Michigan Medicine and assist Ambulatory Care Units with all aspects of Financial and Data management. My journey with graduate education started during the pandemic, I participated and completed a serious of Data Science Coursera Specializations offered by the University of Michigan. That was it I was hooked, I wanted more. I decided to pursue the Master of Applied Data Science with the School of Information, at U of M. Learning how to harness the power of Data Science to promote powerful business decisions became my passion. The learning experience at the University of Michigan was addicting. I felt empowered by the community and inspired to do more. One year into the MADS program I decided to pursue the MBA with Michigan Ross. I am only a third of a way into completing a Dual Masters at the University of Michigan, and I am here to share with the community that I owe so much to, GO BLUE and BEYOND.
