Prior to Ross, I worked as a Software Engineer for 6 years across various industries including, real estate, travel, and e-commerce. Throughout my career, I worked on multiple technologies and varied problems, led multiple teams and at the end worked in the product management and program management space as well.
My reason for joining Ross, apart from the fact that I wanted to do an MBA, was mainly driven by the fact that I could connect with the cohort I was joining as well as my seniors. While I know that everyone talks about the school culture, in my humble opinion Ross offers a really good mixture of fun and seriousness and the people here are really the highlight of the experience.
Post MBA I plan to either go into Product Management or Tech Consulting (also thinking about being a generalist as well). Ross provides a ton of career resources and there is a lot of focus on getting to know which industry you will feel the best in. Between the CDO, fact group, peer coaches, and extremely helpful seniors, recruiting is very well covered.
Apart from all this I am involved in my section board and am a part of the Tech club, Consulting Club, Gaming club, and Soccer Club, and am also a part of the Business+Tech initiative. Definitely feel free to chat to me about any of the things I have mentioned or if you generally want advice on the application process or any other thing.
