Simona Gallego Llano
Hello! I’m Simona, originally from Colombia, where I studied Business Administration and Psychology. Before joining Ross, I built my career in consulting and the operations side of startups, gaining valuable experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
I chose Ross to further my professional development by honing both hard and soft skills with the ultimate goal of becoming a truly inspiring leader. Ross, along with the vibrant Ann Arbor community, quickly became home for me—especially after my husband joined the MBA program a year before I did. I was deeply impressed by the warm, supportive community of students and alumni who welcomed us and guided me through the application process. It was clear from the start that Ross was the ideal place where I could not only be my authentic self but also be surrounded by inspiring peers.
Ross's standout feature for me is its focus on action-based learning, allowing students to grow through real-world experiences. I am excited to continue my journey in consulting, leveraging the wealth of resources and hands-on opportunities that Ross offers beyond the classroom.
Outside of the academic sphere, I am passionate about wellness, particularly health and fitness, and I cherish spending time with friends and family.
I’d be happy to chat about making the move to the U.S., life as an MBA student, what living in Ann Arbor is like, or anything else you’d like to discuss. Feel free to reach out!
