Sophie Huq McGuinness

Hi – My name is Sophie and I am a WMBA Class of 2025 Candidate!

After completing my Bachelor's Degrees at The Michigan State University, I began my career in a business rotation program at the Boeing Company in St. Louis. I completed roles in finance, strategy, operations, and supplier management, and then moved to Washington D.C., where I spent time in Boeing’s Government Operations team. I've had the opportunity to work both defense and non-defense platforms at Boeing. Since then, I have spent the most recent part of my career in Boeing’s Strategy and Corporate Development Organization focused on Ventures & Innovation Strategy related to Advanced Air Mobility and Sustainability.

I have loved my experience at Michigan Ross thus far! I have met great people and been able to participate in case competitions, social events, and student orgs. I currently live in Ann Arbor and so I have also been able to experience both the WMBA activities but also easily access the vast resources available to MBA and Michigan students on campus!
