Stephen Ong

Hey all! I'm Stephen Ong and I am currently enrolled in the Online MBA Program. I received my undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and started my career in manufacturing. From there I moved into project management for innovation products, first in the alcoholic beverage industry in the Midwest and now in coffee in Seattle. As I progressed through my career I realized how important it is to be well rounded and made it my goal to get my MBA. I plan to use it as a stepping stone to move my career from project management into corporate strategy. The Ross OMBA program was a good fit for me as it provided the rigor and action based learning I was looking for in a program, but also the flexibility needed to better balance work, life, and school. Within my first semester I've already learned quite a bit that I've been able to apply to my job as well as created a network of awesome classmates.
