Steve Bowman
HI, my name is Steve Bowman. I was born and raised in rural New Jersey on a hay farm (I'm allergic to hay). I went to high school in a very small town where I played Baseball and Ice Hockey in addition to my studies. Following high school, I attended Wheaton College in Illinois where I majored in History, participated in the Army ROTC program, and was a member of the Club Ice Hockey Team. Upon graduation, I commissioned in the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Armor Branch. I spent the next 8.5 years of my career as a Tank Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Staff Officer, and as a Reconnaissance Troop Commander at various military installations. During my time in the Army I completed a Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership and achieved a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Following my time in the Army, I transitioned into the business world as a medical device sales rep where I sold pacemakers and defibrillators. After a few years, I switched careers again and began working at JPMorganChase. I began as a Process Improvement Senior Associate and recently was accepted to the Chase Associate Program. During my time at JPMC I applied for and began my MBA Online at Michigan while continuing to work full-time.
When I am not working or studying, I enjoy playing Adult Ice Hockey and annoying all of the Buckeye Fans in Columbus, Ohio where I live.
I am married to my wife of 9 years, Lauren and have 2 black labs.
