Tatiana Potter
In the five years before coming to Ross, I worked as a middle school mathematics and high school economics teacher, curriculum coordinator, and teacher mentor at the Manhattan campus of a leading independent school network. My teaching experiences instilled in me a deep curiosity for the economic challenges that diverse organizations face and ways to scale the impact they deliver for their stakeholders and the communities they inhabit. I am pursuing an MBA to pivot into a strategy consulting role, where I look forward to applying my passion for solving challenging problems and expanding my understanding of the business world.
I was particularly drawn to Ross because of its communal culture, passionate student body, and the extensive opportunities it offered to engage in interdisciplinary and hands-on learning. Moreover, I loved Ann Arbor, which gave me a chance to not only take a relaxing break from the frenetic pace of New York City but also immerse myself in a genuinely tight-knit and supportive community of students.
During my free time, I enjoy going to art museums, watching indie films, playing board games with friends, singing, and learning foreign languages. I am happy to chat with you about my transition into business school, the Ross experience, Mystery Trek or anything else that might interest you about the MBA program!
