Tina Vachhani

Class of 2025

Before joining Ross, I was working in the consulting space. My career began at KPMG, where I worked as an analyst in their Risk Advisory practice. During my time there, my focus was primarily on internal audit projects for banks, non-banking financial companies, and asset management companies. Later, I made the move to EY, where I worked as a Consultant in their Business Consulting vertical, where I worked on projects aimed at process improvement and business transformation for clients in the wealth and asset management sector.

Outside work, I’m passionate about volunteering. Over the years, I've collaborated with various non-profit organizations, serving as a mentor to students and assisting them in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.

My journey to Ross was driven by a desire to bring together my professional experience and personal commitment to making a positive impact. Post MBA, I aim to work at the intersection of business and social impact. Personally, what resonated with me the most about Ross was the sense of community. Through my conversations with alumni, current students, and the Admissions Committee, one constant theme emerged: the Ross Community. As an international student preparing to embark on my first journey to the US for a two-year MBA program, the prospect of joining a community described as warm, welcoming, collaborative, and inclusive was particularly reassuring.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or simply wish to chat about anything related to the application process, the Ross experience, or the world of consulting. Would be happy to help!
