I believe that there is a magic power between business and social impact. This eventually guided me to find my passion in healthcare, an area that inherently has a significant impact on people's lives. Prior to Ross, I worked for multinational pharmaceutical companies in new product planning, marketing and market access, focusing on specialty care including rare disease and neuroscience. Before that, I did professional services in accounting and management consulting, serving both for-profit and non-for-profit organizations. As healthcare is such a complex topic bringing science, business, technology, ethics and policy altogether, I want to diversify my perspectives and widen my lens in global health by pursuing an MBA degree. I chose Ross because of its extraordinary people.

Born and raised in Shanghai, I have never spent more than six months in a foreign country. Also as an introvert, I used to wonder how to survive in an MBA program! Yet with the inclusiveness at Ross, I felt safe and empowered to just be myself, as well as to step out of my comfort zone!
