Yoonseon Jeong
I was born in Korea and lived there until coming to Ross. I majored in Chemical Engineering both in undergraduate and graduate school. After that, I worked as a research engineer at LG Chemical, dedicating 7 years to developing engineering plastics. Subsequently, I transitioned to the sales department, where I collaborated with various global automotive companies as clients. Although I have experience in both product development and sales, my decision to join Ross stems from my aspiration to enhance my knowledge and experience in the field of business.
I pursued an MBA to expand my business knowledge and experience. Despite a background in Chemical Engineering and several years in technology development and sales at LG Chemical, I felt the need to enhance my business and management skills. At Ross Business School, I aim to gain insights into business and internal strategy, with a future transition into general management in mind.
On a personal note, I am passionate about activities such as camping, hiking, and swing dancing. I also relocated to Ann Arbor with my husband right after getting married. I am always eager to engage in conversations related to my diverse work experiences and personal life.
