The Ross School of Business 2023 BBA graduates earned a record-setting average median base salary of $100,000, representing an 11% increase over last year.

The Michigan Ross BBA Program is a premier path to career opportunities and competitive salaries, according to the newly released employment report. In addition to six-figure salaries, graduates earned a median signing bonus of $10,000. Among reporting students, 99.1% received a job offer, and 98.3% accepted an offer by Sept 30.

The class of 2023 accepted positions at some of the world’s most sought-after companies, including McKinsey, Microsoft, PwC, Deloitte, Citi, Bain & Co., and Jefferies. BBA graduates pursued careers in a broad range of fields and interests, with financial services (42.9%) as the top industry destination, followed by consulting (24.8%) and tech (9.8%).

“We are proud to see that our 2023 graduates leveraged their skills, experiences, and Ross resources to land jobs — with record-setting salaries — in their chosen career paths,” said Heather Byrne, managing director of the Career Development Office at Michigan Ross. “These results demonstrate the power of a Michigan Ross degree to open doors after graduation and to set students up for success.”

The new report also looks at the employment data for summer internships held by the Class of 2024. BBAs interned at nearly 400 companies in 2023 with many of the same highly desirable employers, such as PwC, EY-Parthenon, McKinsey, Deloitte, and Bain.

The Michigan Ross BBA Program is ranked No. 4 by the 2024 U.S. News & World Report.
