2023 MBA graduates of the Ross School of Business received job offers at a rate of 96%; McKinsey & Co. maintained its mark as top employer.

The Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA Program continues to produce highly sought-after graduates, according to the newly-released employment report data. Within three months of graduation, 95.9% of the Class of 2023 had received a job offer, marking the third straight year in which the job offer rate has exceeded 95%. The median salary for Michigan Ross graduates was $175,000, an increase of 10k from the prior year, and the median signing bonus was steady at $30,000.

McKinsey & Co., Bain & Co., and Boston Consulting Group rank as the top three destinations for Michigan Ross graduates, with consulting representing 45% of the class.

“We are very pleased with the employment results for this year’s Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA graduates,” said Heather Byrne, managing director of the Career Development Office at Michigan Ross. “The job market has been changing, especially in tech, and Ross grads continue to land jobs at great companies, showing how they are able to leverage our action-based learning curriculum, supportive alumni network, and maximize all of the resources provided to them.”
Technology (15.5%) and financial services (14.2%) are the next two industries where students landed jobs. Amazon, Dell, and Adobe Inc. are the top tech recruiters, while JP Morgan Chase & Co. and Citi lead the way in finance. Healthcare and consumer packaged goods round out the top five industries for the Class of 2023.

Two-thirds (66.2%) of the class is slated to work in the New York Metropolitan area, the West Coast, or Chicago.

Of the offers, 87% were school-facilitated by the Career Development Office or sourced on campus. The acceptance rate for offers made in the three months since graduation is 93.7%.

The Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA employment report also included internship data for the Class of 2024. Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Co., Deloitte, Amazon, and Bain & Co. were the largest internship employers for those students this summer.
