2025 Employment Data Report Demonstrates Record-High Salaries and Strong Career Outcomes for Michigan Ross Online MBA Graduates

The newly released 2025 employment data report shows that Ross School of Business Online MBA Program graduates earned record-high salaries and leveraged their degree to move into new positions.

Graduates of the Michigan Ross OMBA Class of 2025 earned a record-high median salary of $175,000 and a median signing bonus of $30,000. More than 88% reported starting a new position between the start of the program and four months after graduation. The report also shows that 67% of OMBA students received a promotion and 64% switched industry/function after starting the program, demonstrating the value and versatility of the Michigan Ross OMBA Program.

Graduates also hold positions at many of the world’s top employers, including McKinsey & Co., Apple, Pepsi Co., Bank of America, and Amazon. General management was the top hiring function this year, representing 29% of job acceptances. Consulting, finance, and operations were the top industries, each accounting for 15% of positions accepted.

Michigan Ross was recently ranked No. 1 for career outcomes by Poets&Quants, a ranking that measures how effectively the Online MBA helps alumni advance in their careers during the program or shortly after graduation. According to the P&Q survey, Ross graduates reported strong career progress, with 65.6% receiving a pay raise during or shortly after completing the program. Alumni also highlighted the value of the professional networks they built through the program, as well as the comprehensive career resources and support that Ross offers, which helped them achieve their career goals.

The Michigan Ross Online MBA Program is ranked No. 3 by Poets&Quants, 2026.
