Roberto Jiménez Rivera, BBA '12, was elected as the one at-large member of the Chelsea (MA) School Committee in November 2019, and sworn in on January 2, 2020. Having only recently moved to Chelsea, he and his small campaign knocked on over 4,000 doors, half of which he knocked himself, in order to get to know the community. Ultimately, he won a landslide victory and is excited to get to work on improving student learning and outcomes through a community-centered collaborative process informed by his knowledge of college access and education policy. Adam Nielsen, MBA '05, was named Chief Development Officer for Center for Diagnostic Imaging, Inc. In this role, Nielsen will drive expanding and growing CDI’s national network of outpatient-based diagnostic imaging centers through acquisitions and other partnership arrangements. Melissa Mabley, MBA '08, CFP®, CDFA®, recently joined Bartlett Wealth Management's Chicago office as a wealth advisor with an expertise in financial planning. Mabley will focus on clients in transition. She brings experience in supporting clients through major life events such as death or divorce. She also performs next-generation education and planning to support multi-generation families. Mabley earned her bachelor of arts in Spanish literature from Indiana University and her MBA from the University of Michigan. Est. 2.2020

Handorf, MBA '67, a professor of finance at the George Washington University School of Business was recently reelected to the board of directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, which is a $150 billion, SEC- registered wholesale institution. Sarah Raiss, MBA '87, was named an Institute of Corporate Director's Fellow (F.ICD), as one of four corporate directors in 2020 and one of 93 directors since the inception of the award 22 years ago. This is Canada's highest distinction for board directors in Canada and awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions through exceptional governance leadership in the boardroom. Howard Handler, MBA '85, Sports and Entertainment Innovator and Detroit Native is the new President at 313 Presents. Handler, who will oversee the booking, production, marketing and business opportunities at Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, the Fox Theatre, DTE Energy Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on the campus of Oakland University and Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill, will report directly to the 313 Presents Board of Directors, comprised of executives from Ilitch Holdings, Inc., and Platinum Equity. Rachel Levy Lesser, MBA '03, new book," Life's Accessories: A Memoir (And Fashion Guide)" was released from She Writes Press in November 2019.
