Before coming to Ross, I was living in New York City and working in strategy for a large primary care and multi-specialty physician group called AdvantageCare Physicians (which was owned by a large health insurance company called EmblemHealth). Through this work experience, I learned that the American healthcare system is deeply inefficient and thus presents incredible opportunities for improvement. Ultimately I decided that going to business school was the logical next step in a career that I wanted to be centered around addressing this issue.

Ross was an obvious fit for me from the start. Not only am I from Ann Arbor originally, but I genuinely believe Ross offers an unrivaled healthcare MBA experience, particularly in the payor/provider space. Outside of healthcare, Ross embodies everything I was looking for in a school – action-based learning opportunities, a strong alumni network, and most importantly, an incredible community.

Happy to answer any questions you have about healthcare at Ross, the college football game day experience or the Ann Arbor bar scene. Go Blue!
