As a dual MBA/MPP candidate at the University of Michigan, I am focusing my studies on how the intersection between the private and public sectors can best advance education equity in the EdTech space. I grew up watching my immigrant parents face economic and disability discrimination, which led me to develop a passion of problem solving and service for those around me, which led me to a career of 6 years in the technology consulting industry. I spent time across both Big 4 and mid-size firms where I helped deliver data analytics and governance solutions to clients across the technology, retail, and finance industries. To further understand private-public relationships, I served with the Peace Corps (both in person and virtually!) in the Republic of Georgia where I developed an interest in community engagement and education and from that, wanted to forge a path that encompassed my love of technology with education. Coming back to school, I knew I wanted to be part of a collaborative community that had a ton of hands-on learning opportunities which is a key reason in why I chose Ross. I have found the best learning and social environment here in Ann Arbor, and know that you will too! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions about the application process (both b-school and graduate programs!), experiences in public and private sectors, moving from a big city to A2, or any other questions you may have.
