As a dual MBA/MPP candidate at the University of Michigan, I hope to explore how effective policies are made on both the domestic and international scale, and how to use this to help businesses drive purposeful social-enterprise work. Prior to school, I worked in the technology consulting industry for almost 6 years across both Big 4 and mid-size firms. I grew up watching my parents face economic and disability discrimination, which led me to develop a passion of problem solving and service - whether for my friends and family, clients, mentees, or colleagues. I took this one step further serving with the Peace Corps (both in person and virtually!) in 2020 in the Republic of Georgia, where I developed an interest in community and economic development, especially on an international scale. Coming back to school, I knew I wanted to be part of a collaborative community that had a ton of hands-on learning opportunities which is a key reason in why I chose Ross. I have found the best learning and social environment here in Ann Arbor, and know that you will too! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions about the application process (both b-school and graduate programs!), experiences in public and private sectors, moving from a big city to A2, or any other questions you may have. Go Blue!
