"Over the last six years I have worked at a nonprofit industry association called the Government Finance Officers Association. In my role as a senior manager, I manage consulting projects with local government finance departments to help identify better business processes, organizational risks, and resistance before implementing new financial systems. I also conduct analysis for local governments to help them identify the amounts to maintain in a rainy day fund given various operational risks. Prior to GFOA, I worked on real estate development consulting, the City of Chicago, IL, and a government contracting firm. I currently live in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Ross WMBA program resonated well to me because of the collaborative and action-based learning. The weekend program allows me to immediately apply the lessons learned in the classroom to my current work. "
