What’s up everyone! My name is Ignacio and I am a second year student concentrating in Finance. I am originally from Madrid, Spain, but I have lived in Miami since I was nine years old. First of all let me just say that I am so excited that you are considering attending the Ross School of Business! After an unforgettable first year, I am proud to call this place my home. Being a part of this amazing community has made my college experience unforgettable. There are countless opportunities to grow and succeed both personally and professionally!

Coming here all the way from Miami, I was nervous as to how I would make friends and figure out what I wanted to do after college. Nowadays, I think to myself how thankful I am that I picked Ross. Everyone in this school welcomed me with open arms and supported me through my transition to college. The resources provided by the university are unmatched and they have helped me explore my passions and attain success. Even as a first year student I had so many opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and explore my interests beyond business.

Outside of my classes, I am a part of the professional fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, the Association of Latino Professionals For America, BalckGen Capital, the Alternative Investment Club, and a Consulting Organization. Before coming to Ross, I could have never imagined being a part of so many amazing organizations and having the opportunity to expand my network so widely. I have grown so much through these experiences and met some of my best friends!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! I am happy to share my experiences and what I know to help you decide if Michigan, and Ross, is the place for you!

What is one of your favorite places to travel? Hawaii. I will never forget the amazing scenery and adventure I experienced when I visited. A trip full of adventure, beauty, and kind people.

Current Involvement: Delta Sigma Pi Professional Fraternity (VP of Fellowship), Association of Latino Professionals For America (Project Manager), Alternative Investment Club, MECC Consulting group, BlackGen Capital, and Michigan International Student Society.
