I am Michigan born-and-bred, and I am beyond excited to be able to pursue my second degree from the University of Michigan and Ross School of Business! Additionally, my career goals are to enter the public accounting field and earn my CPA license. The Ross Master of Accounting program was the perfect opportunity to prepare me for both passing the exams and to give me the tools to be successful in my future career. My favorite part of the program has been the incredible and diverse group of people that make up the MAcc program! I have had the opportunity to be on the MAcc Student Association board as the Athletics Chair, where I am involved in both coordinating IM sports teams for my classmates and working with my fellow board members to plan social events. These MSA-planned events aim to promote bonding with students in the MAcc and other One Year Master's programs. During my undergraduate education, I utilized the Career Development Office's (CDO) resources to deepen my understanding and familiarize myself with the recruiting process for public accounting. These resources include CDO-sponsored information sessions, guides provided on the website, and career coaching with CDO staff.
