I fell in love with accounting my senior year at the University of Michigan, which was too late to change my major, and that led to the greatest decision I ever made: pursuing my master's degree at the greatest university in the world. I spoke with several students and faculty before making this important decision, but Ann Arbor was already my home in more ways than one, so staying to receive a degree from the Ross School of Business was a no brainer for me. I met the most amazing people, created unforgettable memories, learned more than I could have ever imagined and received a full-time job offer from one of the leading public services firm. This was the best year of my life so far!!
If you have any questions about the MAcc program, public accounting, being a GSI, CPA exams, or absolutely anything, feel free to reach out! I experienced transitioning from a non-business background into the accounting world, helped lead the student association and successfully recruited for a full-time job, while still enjoying Michigan football and basketball, all that Ann Arbor has to offer and making friendships that will last a lifetime.
