Tanvi Parekh

I have over five years of experience in supply chain, operations, and business management roles in both the retail and manufacturing industries. I've also taken on the exciting challenge of co-founding a travel company and successfully navigating it during COVID-19 restrictions. I chose to pursue my master’s at the Ross School of Business because of its reputation as a leading institution in the field. The focus on action-based learning, the strong network of alumni, as well as the relationships with industry partners, highly qualified and experienced faculty, and the diverse student community all added up to a program I knew would help me achieve my goals. I'm finding the business simulations in the program to be highly engaging and beneficial. They provide me with the opportunity to apply my knowledge of supply chain management in a realistic and practical setting and help me to develop and sharpen my skills as a supply chain professional. I appreciate the efforts of the Career Development Office (CDO) in arranging various workshops and other professional development opportunities. I am committed to utilizing the resources, such as networking and mentorship programs, to aid in my professional development and to make the most of my time at the university.
