The Ross School of Business’ one-year Master of Supply Chain Management Program was ranked No. 1 in the world in the QS Business Master’s Rankings 2026 in the supply chain management category.
The Michigan Ross MSCM Program claimed the top spot after receiving high marks in each category, as judged by the ranking publication, which included value for money, thought leadership, employability of alumni, diversity, and alumni outcomes. Ross tied for the No. 1 spot with ESSEC Business School in Paris, France. The ranking list included 106 schools from around the world.
This ranking reflects the program’s reputation as a degree with numerous professional benefits, including strong job placements and a challenging curriculum that provides graduates with a cross‑functional perspective highly valued in the workplace. Graduates from last year’s class landed roles at companies like Amazon, General Motors Co., PwC Strategy&, and Walmart.
“We’re honored to see our Master of Supply Chain Management Program ranked No. 1 in the world this year,” said Andrea McHale, managing director of the One-Year Master’s Programs at Michigan Ross. “This recognition is a reflection of the extraordinary work of our faculty and the One-Year Master’s team, as well as the hard work and dedication of our students and alumni. I’m proud of what we’ve built, and even more excited about what’s ahead.”
The MSCM Program is a 10-month program designed to prepare students for impactful and innovative roles that influence global supply chains. In this rigorous, accelerated program, students learn alongside MBA peers and gain hands-on experience through opportunities like the Supply Chain Consulting Studio, where they work directly with companies to solve real business challenges. Students emerge from the program ready to take on jobs, having gained valuable experience both in the classroom and on projects with high-profile companies like Google, Deloitte, and Cisco.
The MSCM Class of 2026, comprising 67 students, began their studies in June and are now completing the fall semester. As they complete foundational courses such as Applied Business Analytics and Decisions (TO 618) and Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Management (TO 624), they are preparing to apply their knowledge in the Consulting Studio Projects this winter.
