Leveraging its vast network of organizational partners, Michigan Ross has developed a new internship program for students this summer, as the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the availability of internships offered by companies across the world.
Through the LBLE course, 123 graduate and undergraduate students at Michigan Ross had the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by acting as team leads on high-impact business projects for nine sponsoring organizations.
REAL is a unifying concept that brings together the curricular and co-curricular opportunities that Michigan Ross students have now, and will have in the future, to start, advise, lead, and invest in real-world businesses.
Prior to business school, I always thought “dealing with ambiguity” was a fluffy management skill and that laid-back people were the best equipped to deal with it. That’s not me. But this class has completely changed my mind.
One of the many ways that Michigan Ross students gain real-world experiences during their business education is by developing real products, with real prototypes, marketing plans, and cost structures. It’s all part of the Michigan Ross Integrated Product Development Course.
