Jim Broner
Jim Broner is a Vice Chair of Corporate & Investment Banking. Jim has served in a variety of senior leadership positions throughout Wells Fargo. He previously served as the Head of the Regional Investment Banking group, Head of the Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking group, and deputy head of our Mergers and Acquisitions group. Jim joined Wells Fargo in 2005. His experience spans a broad range of advisory, debt, and equity financing transactions across an array of industries.
Jim previously was a Managing Director at Bank of America Securities, Credit Suisse, First Boston (and its predecessor, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ)). He joined DLJ in 1994 as the first associate hired into the Mergers and Acquisitions group. Prior to that, Jim was an associate at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He began his career as a financial analyst at Lehman Brothers.
Jim earned a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from New York University Law School. He lives in New York City with his wife Mimi and they have three grown sons.
