Career Background

John R. Tozzi, CEO & CIO Mr. Tozzi founded Cambridge Investments LLC, and also founded and served as President, CEO & CIO for Cambridge Investments Limited from 1982-2010.

From 1973 to 1981, Mr. Tozzi was a founding Senior Partner and Member of the Executive Committee at Montgomery Securities. From 1968 to 1973, Mr. Tozzi was a member of the sales and trading department at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and managed the Institutional Department of Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Tozzi earned his BS beta gamma sigma from Bowling Green University. He received his MBA cum laude from the University of Michigan, was a Rodney Fellow and Chaired the Business Schools Finance and Investment Associations. Mr. Tozzi currently serves as a member of the Board at The University of Michigan Business School. Mr. Tozzi also serves as the President of Pine Canyon Real Estate Development LLC, and Senior Member of the Board at Snow King Mountain LLC. Most recently he has been elected as a Member of the Board at The American Hospital of Paris Foundation and Certis Oncology Solutions where he also serves as the Chairman of the Certis Executive Committee. He is a former board member of The San Francisco Boys and Girls Club, and The St. John’s Hospital Foundation. He has served as Chairman of The Yellowstone National Art Trust; Chairman of the Center for the Arts in Jackson, Wyoming; and is a former Board member, Treasurer, and Finance Chair of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Mr. Tozzi is also a former Economics and Finance Instructor at the New York Institute of Finance as well as a former pro bono Economics and Finance Instructor at The Branson School. Also at the Branson School, Mr. Tozzi served as a Trustee and Treasurer in addition to coaching varsity soccer. Mr. Tozzi has been a featured speaker at a number of Investor Conferences sponsored by: Institutional Investor Magazine, Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Tremont Advisors, Maxam Capital, Sohn, Alternative Asset Summit, Cap Intro West, UC Berkley, and The University of Michigan Business School.
