Visas for the Asia Session

Students must apply for their own visas.

Visas for the Sessions in Japan and Korea

The sessions in Korea and Japan run roughly four weeks each. Please check if your country has a visa exemption treaty with each of those three countries. If your country has a treaty for up to 30 days for tourism or business purposes, you do not need to apply for visa. If a visa is required, please check with the consulate in your area for travel documentation requirements as early as possible. We will provide letters of attendance upon your request. Please note that you do not need a student visa for the sessions in Asia since you are not enrolling in a locally established educational institution and the stay in each country is less than 30 days. A general entry visa (tourist/business) is sufficient.

Visa for the students participating in the Pre-MBA English Course

The Pre-MBA English Course and the Korea session are offered continuously from February 2 to March 22, and your stay in Korea will be well over 30 days. If your country has a visa exemption treaty with Korea for up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes, you do not need to apply for visa. If a visa is required, please check with the Korean Consulate in your area for travel documentation requirements as early as possible. We will provide a letter of attendance upon your request.

As of Dec. 1, 2018, among the countries in Asia, Korea has a visa exemption treaty for up to 90 days with Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. Students from all other countries will need a visa. Since immigration policy changes frequently and your unique legal status could affect your eligibility, we encourage you to check with the Korean Consulate in your region as early as possible.
