Class of 2024

I believe in the power of personal narrative combined with smart strategy, data, and research in solving society’s big systemic problems. Having spent the last five years in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, my North Star is to become a cross-industry leader in the mental health field. I want to leverage my dual MBA/MPP degree to drive innovation in mental healthcare. I hope to use my time at Michigan Ross to pivot immediately to strategy consulting, either at a health-focused or generalist firm with a social impact portfolio. I plan to do this to gain the breadth of problem-solving experience needed to make a profound impact in the mental healthcare space. Prior to Ross, I was a founding team member of Disability Lead, a startup nonprofit dedicated to connecting leaders with disabilities to positions of power and influence. As Associate Director of Development and Communications, I grew the organization through strategic fundraising and high-quality community outreach. I chose Ross because of the multiple opportunities for students to make an impact. A fun fact about me is that during the pandemic, I became a backyard birdwatcher. The Northern Cardinal holds a special meaning in my family – when you see one, it means a loved one is looking after you. In my free time, I'm usually listening to a policy podcast, riding my Peloton, or facetiming with my two adopted cats – not necessarily in that order. Feel free to reach out to talk about social impact, pursuing a dual degree, or anything else that piques your interest!
