Josh Finkelstein

I’m originally from a suburb of Orlando, Florida, and I received my bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Systems and Analytics from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. I chose Michigan Ross due to its excellent education and amazing outside-the-classroom opportunities. The Ross Master of Accounting curriculum has allowed me to reinforce my accounting knowledge, which has aided in CPA preparation while also giving me the flexibility to take MBA-level courses to expand my business acumen. Extracurricular activities have allowed me to take my education to the next level with action-based learning, such as with the Sanger Leadership Center’s Crisis Challenge and Business+Tech’s FinTech challenge. My favorite thing about the program is the community and people within the program. You are in a collaborative environment where everyone is helpful and encouraging, whether with CPA prep or classwork. The Career Development Office (CDO) was extremely helpful during recruiting season. They were always there to answer any questions I had and provided a plethora of information to apply for and receive job offers.
