I graduated from the University of Toledo in May 2016, with an Engineering degree in Information Technology. Since graduation, I have been working in the Oil & Gas industry at Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC). I work on Supply, Distribution, Planning, and Trading (SDP&T) related software applications providing quality assurance, business analysis, and production support. I want to move from a technology focused role to a management/leadership role. To enhance my leadership skills, I need to learn to navigate ambiguity, manage conflict, and address organizational problems.
When I visited Ross, I knew I belonged here. A Ross MBA will give me the skillset required to excel, through its ‘lock-step’ two-year program. Ross’s emphasis on action-based (experiential) learning, including the MAP project are un-paralleled opportunities. Having met my peers, and the faculty, my confidence that I made the right choice has been re-affirmed. The network of classmates, alumni, and staff that I will gain at Ross will serve me well for a lifetime.
I am excited to be an active part of the Michigan Ross community, and I am eager to interact with prospective students about any and all aspects of a Michigan Ross MBA. Go Blue!
