Hi everyone! My name is Priya, I am from Newberry, Michigan and I am a BBA with a dual degree in mathematics! Ross has been the most amazing experience I have had so far, and it has provided me with not only an amazing community but so much knowledge, even just in my first year. 

The experiences I have gained in my first year have led me to grow and develop in a direction I had never imagined. I am currently involved in a business fraternity, and a consulting club, both of which have helped me professionally develop while also giving me my lifelong friends. The community at the University of Michigan is just one of the many reasons I wanted to go blue. Even from the first day stepping on this campus I felt a sense of support I had never felt before. 

I was also overwhelmed by the amount of help and guidance Michigan Ross has to offer. Just in your first year you get your own peer mentor, have access to the Career Development Office, meet with an advisor, and work in teams in your first Ross class which allows you to get to know people. As someone from a small town who knew little about college life before coming here, I am happy to say this place has never felt more like home!

What is your favorite place on campus? My favorite place on campus is the Angell Hall lobby, it's the best place to get work done, or bring friends for group projects! It is also a really beautiful place to just relax between classes.
