Rachel Wortmann is motivated by the belief that employees who are taken care of mentally and physically are happier and more productive at work. She started her career with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Economics from a university in London and a master's degree in Marketing and Business Analytics from the University of Edinburgh. During this time she founded a marketing consulting firm where she worked with mostly women-owned small businesses in launching or upleveling their digital marketing efforts.
Upon graduation Rachel joined Deloitte Consulting's DC office as a Human Capital Consultant where she would focus on organizational change management, helping employees navigate change. After four years working with multinational corporations across many industries including healthcare, life sciences and technology, she left to pursue her MBA at a top 10 business school, the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. There, she has enjoyed studying Business Law and Corporate Strategy and will be pursuing an internship in Brand Management at Reckitt, a British multinational consumer goods company producing health, hygiene and nutrition products. Rachel will be returning to the Deloitte Consulting Chicago Office as a Senior Consultant in the Human Capital practice upon graduation.
When Rachel isn't at university or work, she enjoys spending time with her rescue dog and partner at home in Michigan, or using her PTO to travel internationally.
