Rania Alghamdi

Class of 2024

Prior to Ross, I spent 4 years working in both public and private sectors in Saudi Arabia. Starting with Boston Consulting Group where I worked as a Finance Associate, then moving to the Saudi Data and AI Authority where I shifted into economic research and policy analysis, and ending with The National Development Fund where I continued working in economic and policy analysis. During the summer between my first and second year at Ross, I interned at Kearney as a Summer Associate in the Middle East office.

Being a young professional in Saudi Arabia enabled me to explore different opportunities and empowered me both personally and professionally. I am thrilled to having witness the transformation of my country and I aspire to be a part of that change. I decided to pursue an MBA to equip myself with the strong skillset and experience that are needed to broaden my perspectives of the business world. I aspire to take my learnings from Ross and participate in my country’s reforms, focusing on youth empowerment and policy development.

I was drawn to Ross because of its warm and welcoming culture, its strong career development services, equally humble and experienced faculty, and powerful, well-connected alumni network. A few weeks after moving to Ann Arbor, I knew I made the right decision!
