Michael Metzger
Professor Metzger serves as a Lecturer on the faculty of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in the Department of Marketing, where he has taught graduate-level courses in Marketing Management, International Marketing, Strategic Marketing for Product and Brand Managers, and International Multidisciplinary Consulting Projects throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Metzger is also a Faculty Associate with the University of Michigan Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies. Professor Metzger has served as the Academic Director for several international exchange programs for INCAE Business School with such institutions as the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, University of California Los Angeles Anderson School of Management, Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business, and Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom.
Professor Metzger has taught extensively throughout Latin America and consulted for Latin American firms on the implementation of socially responsible business plans and sustainable business practices. Prior to joining the faculty at the Ross School of Business, he worked in research administration and technology transfer for the University of Michigan's many interdisciplinary centers and institutes. He has published in academic and professional journals and presented at conferences in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. He received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Toledo.
