The Fall 2021 Application Is Now Live: Important Reminders You Need to Know
The Michigan Ross Full-Time MBA Application for fall 2021 is now live!
We made a few changes to this year’s application. Rather than answering three short-answer prompts, applicants will be required to respond to only two of the six prompts. The prompts remain unchanged from last year. (Read more about our essay prompts in a previous post.)
Additionally, with the limited availability to take in-person tests, we will continue to accept scores from the online versions of the GMAT, GRE, and TOEFL.
Other important reminders about our application:
- We continue to require only one recommendation letter. You should choose a recommender who can speak about your professional performance and work style from having worked directly with you. Generally, we prefer a recommendation from your current supervisor. If that isn’t possible, you might consider a project manager, a client, a former supervisor, or, if you’re an entrepreneur, an investor.
- In addition, we use the Common Recommendation Form. By using this form, your recommenders can answer the same questions and use the same rating grid for each school that uses it. Ross is one of four Top 10 business schools that accept it.
- You are automatically considered for scholarships when you apply. You do not have to complete a separate application or do extra work to qualify for scholarships. We look at your entire application to assess your professional and personal achievements, academic ability, and potential to contribute to the Ross community in order to determine awards. We will notify you if you received an award (and the amount) when you’re admitted. We want you to have all the information you need to make the best possible decision for you.
Now is the time to get to know us. Understanding what a school has to offer and what the experience is like will help you prepare a stronger application. Click here to see all the virtual events you can attend.
We wish you the best as you begin your journey!
