Coming Soon: Round 2 Interview Invitations

Happy New Year! I hope you took a break from applications over the holidays, although I suspect Round 2 applicants may have spent time polishing them up - just like my high school senior son did on his college applications.

Hopefully, you breathed a sigh of relief after hitting “submit.” Now that your application is in, I wanted to let you know what is happening with it and when you can expect to hear back from us.

The team is currently conducting “first reads” of applications. This means reviewing applications to determine whom to invite for Round 2 interviews. We’re aiming to send all interview invitations to applicants the week of Jan. 25.

All interviews this year are being conducted virtually by a Ross alum or second-year student. (Check out our virtual interview tips to prepare.) Round 2 applicants who are not invited to interview will receive either a “waitlist” or “deny” decision on Mar. 17. In addition, some of these candidates will be denied in an early decision release in February so they can make alternative plans.

If your app is still a work in progress, never fear because you still have time to apply this year. The deadlines for Rounds 3 and 4 are Mar. 29 and June 1, respectively. For application tips, join our Getting Ready for Ross Round 3 webinar on Feb. 23.

If you’re looking for more ways to get to know Michigan Ross, you can join us at one of our upcoming virtual events, explore stories in the Ross Newsroom, or listen to the “Business Beyond Usual” student-run podcast.

We look forward to learning more about you!
