Michigan Ross Lands In Top 5 of Poets&Quants Best Undergraduate Business Schools Rankings
By continuing to offer a community of collaboration and an abundance of opportunities to learn by doing while boasting high internship and employment outcomes, the Ross School of Business has been named one of the top five business schools in the world for undergraduates by Poets&Quants.
Michigan Ross earned the No. 5 spot out of nearly 100 participating schools in P&Q’s 2024 Best Undergraduate Business Schools rankings. This designation represents a three-spot improvement over last year’s No. 8 ranking. Additionally, Ross ranked No. 4 for academic experience and No. 3 for career outcomes.
“We are pleased to be recognized as one of the Top 5 global business schools for undergraduates by Poets&Quants,” said Cathy Shakespeare, Thomas C. Jones Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education and professor of accounting at Michigan Ross. “This achievement is a testament to the ongoing commitment of our faculty and staff to provide students with an exceptional educational experience that prepares them to lead in an ever-changing business landscape. We are proud to see our students utilizing their knowledge and skills to find success after graduation.”
P&Q rankings use a methodology that gives equal weight to three primary criteria: academic and co-curricular experience, admissions standards, and career outcomes. This year’s rankings were calculated using three years of data from alumni surveys and a survey completed by the school.
According to the publication, the undergraduate business programs that are ranked this year are “at the leading edge of business education, delivering a learning experience that transforms students’ sense of who they are and what they can do in the world.”
