Ardhi Indrawidhi, MBA '15

Digging Deeper with Michigan Ross

Ardhi works in human resources for the largest natural gas distributor in Indonesia, which sponsored him in the Ross GMBA Program as a potential future leader in the company.

He was attracted to Ross because it offered a small cohort within the full MBA experience at a leading school. He really enjoyed the classes of Priscilla Rogers and Aneel Karnani, saying, “They really asked us to think logically, not just on the surface, but also about why this case or this phenomenon happened.” He also noted that Ross is a top school for leadership development -- in the classroom, as well as through the competitions and other offerings of the Sanger Leadership Center.

In his spare time, Ardhi took advantage of Ann Arbor’s vibrant cultural scene. As a volunteer usher, he attended performances of the U-M theater program and touring jazz and classical musicians for free. And the university’s Passport to the Arts program offered additional free and discounted opportunities. Also, “Ann Arbor has good public transportation,” he notes. “For me, who didn't have a car, it was a very good system. You can go everywhere using your Mcard.”
