Career Background

Lori Pomerantz is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Business Development for Private Credit at Partners Group, based in New York. In this role, Lori is responsible for capital raising and strategy for the Private Credit business, which spans a variety of sub-asset classes, including direct lending, fund financing, credit secondaries, broadly syndicated loans and CLOs. Before joining Partners Group, Lori spent eight years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, most recently as a Managing Director leading the Corporate Credit Lead Portfolio Management team and the commercial growth efforts for the broadly syndicated loan, high yield and opportunistic credit strategies. Prior to this role, she spearheaded long-only fixed income manager selection within Goldman’s Alternative Investments and Manager Selection (AIMS now XIG) business. Prior to Goldman, Lori spent 12 years as a high yield and broadly syndicated loan credit analyst at BNP Paribas, Macquarie Capital, Citigroup and Lehman Brothers.

Lori earned a BBA with dual concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in 2003. During her time at Ross, she was the co-Founder and co-President of the BBA Finance Club. Formerly, she was a member of the Ross BBA Advisory Board.

Lori lives in Manhattan with her husband Zachary (Cornell alum, but Michigan sports fan) and her two children, Alexandra (11) and Harrison (8), who are well-versed in "Hail to the Victors."
