How to Stay Connected With Us From a Distance

This is an uncertain time for all of us, but one thing you can be certain of is that there are many ways to engage with myself and the Michigan Ross Admissions Team during the COVID-19 pandemic, even while we are all practicing social distancing.

We understand that applicants and admits have a lot of questions right now, so we are striving to offer all our usual in-person touch points in virtual formats. The best part is you now do not even have to leave your couch to stay in touch with us. Here are three of these opportunities:

Information Sessions and Workshops

These are very helpful informational sessions that cover many of the topics and questions that you may have about the admissions process and your future journey at Ross. We usually host these events in person, but now we are making them open to any applicant or admit around the world by moving them to virtual formats. Sign up to participate in a session or workshop here.

Google Hangout drop-in hours with an admissions officer

These drop-in hours will give you the chance to learn more about the Ross BBA Program and application process from an admissions representative by leveraging the Google Hangouts function in Gmail. To participate, log in to your Gmail account, open Hangouts, and send a chat message to [email protected]

This can be done by:

  • Click on the plus icon  in Gmail (above chats) to start a "New Conversation"
  • Where it says “Enter name, email, or phone,” enter "[email protected]
  • Select Ross Undergrad and type your question into the chat box

An admissions representative will reply to you shortly. We are available to chat Monday through Friday, between 2 and 4:30 p.m. ET. No sign-up is required, and chats can last anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes.

Talk with a student ambassador

Talking to a current student is a great way to get an authentic and unscripted take on life at Michigan Ross and get answers to questions you may have about the BBA program. You can schedule a session with a student ambassador by sending an email to [email protected]

In addition, you can use the same steps above to schedule a Google Hangout with a student ambassador. Instead of entering the admissions email, enter "[email protected]," select RossBBAAmbassadors, and ask your question.

Either way, an ambassador will get right back to you. An ambassador will be online Monday through Friday, between 2 and 4:30 p.m. No sign-up is required, and chats can last anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes.
