Legal Issues in Finance and Banking --- Leaders in finance and banking operate in an environment fraught with legal risk. Financial companies are highly regulated, subject to strict supervision, and the target of frequent litigation. For leaders in these fields, the ability to identify, assess, and develop strategies for addressing legal risk is indispensable. This capstone course challenges students to integrate concepts from across the BBA curriculum to manage legal risks in finance and banking. Students will synthesize concepts from finance, strategy, business organizations, communications, and ethics in order to analyze real-world business problems. This capstone course is recommended for students pursuing careers in investment banking, financial services, consulting, or law.
