Go-To-Market Strategy
Caster Concepts, a Midwest manufacturer of industrial casters and wheels, aims to develop a disruptive go-to-market strategy that bypasses the traditional distribution channels. Currently, these channels include specialty caster distributors and large multi-line distributors such as Fastenal, Grainger, and Motion Industries. The EMBA team will develop a new operations strategy that examines different direct to companies and customers options. The team will assess all aspects of Caster Concepts manufacturing operations, understand it’s sales processes, and look at how AI could change the distribution strategy.

Strategic Roadmapping
The town of Tipperary is seeking a Regeneration Strategic Plan to help the community find a new path forward. The area had vast manufacturing resources and wealth, it now needs a new approach that capitalizes on the existing knowledge and resources while building a new direction for the town. For example, it has one of top equine communities in the world, it just needs a strategic view that further aligns the existing resources and figures out what needs to be added for the community to have even greater impact.
Tipperary has prior economic plans that would be available to the team. The team will have access to sponsors who are seasoned executives from Enterprise Ireland, Irish Development Authority, Probal, and local and national government officials. ExecMAP has a successful history of similar projects that would be available to the team. Plus, the frameworks and models could be used by every town in the US for job creation and economic development.
