The City of Dearborn is seeking assistance in developing a financial strategy for the City’s rebranding efforts and 5-year marketing campaign. Deliverables from the final project will inform budgetary decisions and the creation of an RFP for the City’s rebrand.

We propose establishing a collaborative committee involving students, faculty, and staff to develop a community outreach strategy.

Caster Concepts, a Midwest manufacturer of industrial casters and wheels, aims to develop a disruptive go-to-market strategy that bypasses the traditional distribution channels. Currently, these channels include specialty caster distributors and large multi-line distributors such as Fastenal, Grainger, and Motion Industries. The EMBA team will develop a new operations strategy that examines different direct to companies and customers options. The team will assess all aspects of Caster Concepts manufacturing operations, understand it’s sales processes, and look at how AI could change the distribution strategy.

Note: The CEO is an EMBA grad who was a MD that sold his medical practice to takeover this company and has successfully grown the company over the years. It’s a great story of transition and owner your own company too.

This project will focus on identifying which ophthalmology services, if any, Clínica de Familia should offer as part of their service expansion. This project will require the team to develop a financial model to inform recommendations.
